WtERT® Supports IRIS 2026: International Recycling Incubation Summit
The Global Waste-to-Energy Research and Technology Council (WtERT®) is honored to support the International Recycling Incubation Summit (IRIS 2026), hosted by IPCA Centre for Waste Management and Research (ICWMR) at TERI SAS, host of our WtERT India network on January 16–17, 2026, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
Under the theme:
“Integrating sustainable waste supply chain logistics and low-carbon pathways for a circular economy,”
IRIS 2026 will convene leading experts, policymakers, innovators, and industry practitioners to address the pressing challenge of transforming waste from a burden into a valuable resource for the circular economy.
The conference will showcase pathways for:
- Circular economy and waste-to-resource strategies that minimize landfill reliance.
- Sustainable supply chain logistics to optimize resource recovery.
- Waste-to-X technologies (energy, fuels, and materials) that harness the potential of residual waste.
- Low-carbon pathways that support India’s climate commitments while creating green economic opportunities.
By supporting IRIS 2026, WtERT reaffirms its mission to advance best available technologies for waste-to-resource solutions and reduce global methane emissions from landfills. Importantly, WtERT is proud to support India in collaboration with our partner, the IPCA Centre for Waste Management and Research (ICWMR) at TERI SAS, to promote sustainable waste management practices, advance the circular economy, and accelerate resource recovery solutions.
