Research Interests
The study of global and regional biospheric climate processes using mathematical models and remote sensing methods, the study of the sequestration capacity of plant communities in various regions of the world, the accumulation of carbon in the soil, the calculation of the carbon dioxide budget in the world.
Quality assessment of surface, groundwater. Ecological monitoring of water bodies. Development of an Environmental Monitoring System. Health risk assessment for drinking water.
Education:
• 2002 – graduated with honors from the master’s program of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences of RUDN University, specializing in chemistry, inorganic chemistry department, laboratory of analytical chemistry. Has a diploma with honours in English/Spanish translation.
• 2006 – completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Environmental Monitoring and Forecasting of the Faculty of Ecology of RUDN University and passed her Ph.D. thesis defense on the topic of: “Modeling the impact of emissions from non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises on forest biogeocoenose”, a candidate of biological sciences, specializing in ecology. The work was supported by the RFBR grant № 05-01-00649-а
