Biography

President of the Brazilian Association of Waste Energy Recovery (ABREN) since 2018, council member of representing WtERT Brazil chapter since 2020 and partner at Girardi & Advogados Associados since 2012. In 2018, Yuri received the 2nd place award at the Brazilian Congress on Energy Efficiency and the title of Master in the EU Clean Energy Pack course at the Florence School of Regulation (FSR), European University Institute, Florence, Italy. Conducted the Course on Regulatory Law and Regulatory Governance of the Brazilian Association of Regulatory Agencies (ABAR) in 2016 and the Intensive Course on International Commercial Arbitration with Prof. Andrew Gusman, Harvard University, USA.

Bachelor of Laws from Centro Universitário de Brasília – UNICEUB; Official speaker of the class of the 2nd semester of 2011;
Postgraduate in Electricity Law with extension in Didactics of Higher Education by UNICEUB – 2014;
